Preliminary Guideline for Conducting The Internal Evaluation 2020

Internal evaluations are to be conducted by respective academic departments. The following presents a guideline for the same.

1. Internal evaluations for semester 2^nd, semester 4^th, Part 1 and Part 2, are going to be held on the following dates.
2. The internal evaluations are to be held online. The students would be able to access the question papers from an email id half an hour before the evaluation starts. User id and passwords of the said email will be shared with the students beforehand, on their phone numbers as SMS/WhatsApp numbers/email ids, etc. Students are requested to regularly check the College website (https://ggdcgopiac.in/) for further updates regarding the matter.
3. The students are instructed to write the answers on a blank paper in their own hand writings. A model answer script has been attached herewith. The students must write their University Registration Number along with year at the top of their answer scripts.
4. After writing the answers, the student has to scan the answer script in PDF format preferably, and upload/attach the document in email, and send them to examination@ggdcgopi2.ac.in email address. Students can upload the file in image format (in JPEG/PNG/BMP format) if they are unable to convert image files to PDF document.
5. The evaluation for each paper would be for one (1) hour. The students will be given additional half-an-hour (30 minutes) to send/upload their answer scripts to the given email address.
6. As per Vidyasagar University guideline, the full marks of the internal evaluation on any subject and on any paper would be half (50%) of the total marks of that paper, without taking the marks reserved for ‘Continuous Assessment’ (CA) in consideration. Only “End Semester Examination” (ESE) marks are to be considered here. For example, if the total marks of any paper is 75 marks, and 15 marks out of that is reserved for CA, it implies that the remaining 60 marks are to be considered here. The internal evaluation would be held on 50% of that marks, i.e., on 30 marks.
7. Academic subjects or disciplines that have practical papers would be prepared on the same principle.
8. The department of Bengali will hold their internal evaluation on November 28, 2020, from 10 am onwards.   
9. Department of English, Sociology, History, and Philosophy will hold their respective evaluations on November 30, 2020, from 10 am onwards.
10.  Department of Anthropology, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, and Environmental Science (AECC) will hold their respective evaluations on December 1^st, 2020, from 10 am onwards.
